The Joys of Packing
Never again will I complain about packing for a week long trip. One week is tough, two weeks is a bit of a challenge, but 4 months is nearly impossible! I am known to overpack for a slumber party, so just imagine me cramming 4 months of stuff into 2 suitcases. What a nightmare! I dread the trip home... it will be a miracle if I can fit everything in my suitcases for a second time.

Just a suggestion...you could send some stuff home w/ Mom and Dad in October so you have room to buy me lots of presents! ;) (j/k on the last part...kinda...)
i was thinking the same thing, but not about getting christie anything...more like yourself! you will think to yourself while you are there, that's too muc, etc, but will be sorry when you get home and wish you had gotten it, or better yet, wish you had gotten 2 or 3 of something.
there is always shipping, remember.
